Last year, we introduced a new cross-suite service for Office 365 commercial and education customers called Office 365 Groups, which enables people to create public or private groups. The first apps to take advantage of the Office 365 Groups service include Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote, Skype for Business, Power BI and Dynamics CRM. Yammer, Delve and Planner will also soon take advantage of this service.
Along with today’s launch of Office 2016, we’re introducing Groups in Outlook 2016 and a new mobile app called Outlook Groups. These new capabilities offer a better way to get work done with others and offer a number of benefits compared to traditional distribution lists.
In Outlook 2016, creating a group is easy and new colleagues can also join existing groups and quickly get up to speed. Each member of a group can participate in conversations, schedule meetings, share files and notes and even initiate a Skype for Business voice and video call for urgent real-time decisions. Learn more about Outlook 2016 and its new Groups features here.
I understand you want to see your Office 365 group calendar in Outlook for Mac 2016, based on my checking, Office 365 group calendar is not available in Outlook 2016 for Mac. Following is a blog for releasing about group in Outlook for Mac. Feb 20, 2018 1) Can no longer send group e-mails with recipients hidden (Bcc) I imported all my contacts and groups from Outlook 2011. They appear appropriate. The “Use Bcc to hide member info” box is checked. But when I send the e-mail, it is just sent to me, not to the Bcc recipients. I can check this. Also, any advice about being able to get notified.
With the new Outlook Groups mobile app for Windows Phone, iOS and Android, you can now engage with your group on your phone while on the go—continue conversations, view files, @mention colleagues and even discover other relevant groups. You can learn more about the Outlook Groups app here—we’d love to hear what you think, so please submit a review.

For those unfamiliar with a YamJam, it is similar to a “TweetJam” on Twitter or an “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) on Reddit, except it takes place on Yammer. It provides the opportunity for the community to ask questions and have a discussion with a panel of internal Microsoft experts on a particular topic. Here’s how to participate:

Microsoft has begun rolling out support for Groups in Outlook for Mac, iOS and Android. Already available for commercial Office 365 users on Windows and on the web, Groups support gives Outlook users an easy way to take actions on and keep up with group conversations with things like adding group events to your calendar, viewing a group list, and quickly checking out group details.
Along with group support for Outlook on more platforms, Microsoft also unveiled a new batch of features rolling out to Groups in outlook on Windows and the web. Here's a quick rundown, from Microsoft:
- Give guest access — Last fall, we updated Outlook on the web to give you the ability to set up guest access for people outside your organization, set group classification as defined by Office 365 admins, and view usage guidelines. Now, these same capabilities are available in Outlook for Windows.
- Invite people to join — One of our most requested improvements was an easier way to invite multiple people to join a group. We've released the Invite to join feature to Outlook on the web, which lets you create invitation links and share them with others via email or other channels, giving them a quick way to join the group.
- Multi-delete conversations — Group owners can now multi-select conversations and delete them from the group conversations space in Outlook for Windows.
- Send email as a group — Office 365 admins can grant send-as and send-on-behalf-of permissions to members of a group using the Exchange admin center. Group members who have these permissions can then send emails as the group, or on behalf of the group, from Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web.
Microsoft is also working on a couple of future features for groups, including adding adding appointments to a group calendar in Outlook for Windows and adding mail contacts as guests in a group.
Even with the move to more platforms, Microsoft says that the dedicated Outlook Groups app for iOS and Android will continue to be available while the company continues to improve Groups support in Outlook itself. If you're a commercial Office 365 user already in a group, you should see your groups on Mac, iOS and Android as support rolls out over the coming weeks.

Microsoft may have delayed Windows 10X and Surface Neo beyond 2020
Microsoft's upcoming Windows 10X and Surface Neo products may not be shipping in time for the holiday after all, according to a new report from ZDNet's Mary-Jo Foley. This means that other Windows 10X devices from third-party manufactures also won't be launching at the end of this year like originally planned. Microsoft's dual-screen Windows 10X effort has been put on pause.
